This was our second day at the marina in
Georgetown. We woke to a very overcast
day but the sun eventually came out. After doing work around the boat we took a
nice dinghy ride further up the Sassafras River in the afternoon. We celebrated our 42nd anniversary
with dinner at the Kitty Knight House, an inn and restaurant housed in a home
dating back to the late 1700’s. During the War of 1812, Miss Kitty Knight convinced
the British Army not to burn her house.
