June 25, 2013 Day 34  The Hudson River

Day sixteen here in Kingston! We are still hopeful that the Canal will open on Friday. 

 

We were happy when Looper friends on Sea Hunt IV, (Andre, Lisa, Luc, 12, and Pierre, 9) arrived in Kingston and rafted to us this afternoon. We met them last summer in Canada and last saw them in Clearwater Beach, Florida. We did the Gulf crossing with them and Irish Attitude and will always have those special memories.

We went to dinner with them at Ship to Shore, and then came back to continue our visit on our boat.

 

We will remain here tomorrow and look forward to another Looper potluck for dinner!
