June 4, 2013 Day 13  Heading to New Jersey
Utsch’s Marina
Cape May, NJ

We said goodbye to Delaware City, and along with other loopers, headed out in the Delaware Bay to Cape May, NJ.  We had a good travel day with mostly 1 ft. seas and had the current with us most of the way.  We traveled 60 miles today and arrived in Cape May by 5pm.  We stopped for fuel at another marina first and then headed to Utsch’s Marina to spend the night.  There were many Loopers there and we all walked over to the Lobster House for a great seafood dinner.  Gay and Mike, on Irish Attitude arrived when we did and it was wonderful to see them again.  We had not seen them since we were in Clearwater Beach, FL.

Since we had visited Cape May last year, we only spent one night here. It is a beautiful town with countless colorful Victorian Era homes lining the streets.  We called it an early night as several of us planned an early departure offshore tomorrow.
