September 10, 2013 Day 111  Mt. Desert Island

What a quiet day! We are remaining here on the mooring ball in Somes Harbor.  The other boats that are moored here are smaller and local so no one is living on them – this is just where they are kept in season when not being used.  

We have had a lazy day – reading (Joyce), practicing the fiddle (Bill). It was partly sunny this morning and became very cloudy this afternoon. It is windy also. We are in a good place – the waves offshore are 6-8’ today. 

We did see several kayakers go past our boat today and that is our only photo!

We will probably stay here tomorrow as well, but we will check the forecast again first.
