Our new dinghy, "A Little Carried Away"
We are wrapping up our stay in Mystic and will leave in the morning. The past two days have been filled with work – mostly to get the new dinghy ready.  As we lowered it in the water this morning, two other boaters walked by and offered to help Bill put the heavy motor on it. Thanks goodness for such good people!  We took our test ride this afternoon and all is well!  The pictures posted tonight were taken from the dinghy ride around the Mystic Harbor.

The whaling ship Charles W. Morgan, being restored
We made one more trip to a hardware store and West Marine today to finish last minute items needed. Joyce returned the rental car at the end of the day so we can get an early start tomorrow.

This mooring ball is taken!
We are looking closely at the weather for the next few days as we approach New York. We may be stuck somewhere on Monday for a while.  At least this weekend looks good for travel.  The Mystic Seaport Museum has been an excellent stop, but we need to move on tomorrow!  We will probably make a 60 mile trip to Bridgeport, CT for one night and then be in the Staten Island area for the next few nights.
