We woke to rain this morning and a phone call to our boating buddies resulted in the decision to stay here at Great Kills another day. We were all very tired from our long but fun day in New York City yesterday, so this was an easy decision.

We stayed on the boat and read, did laundry, did some paper work, made some phone calls, etc., but nothing strenuous.

We will leave in the morning and either anchor or go to a marina in the Haverstraw area on the Hudson River.
