December 6, 2015  Day 14 South for the Winter 2015-16

This was another very busy day!  Bill spent much of the day replacing a water faucet with connections very difficult to reach and remove. He eventually completed the project and we could once again turn the water back on. 

Joyce spent time wrapping Christmas presents and baking bread.   Our friends Bob and Janet arrived after lunch with their adorable new puppy.  We walked to the Beaufort Christmas parade and had a great time watching the floats, bands, cars, horses. etc.  Afterwards, Bob drove Bill to a hardware store for a plumbing fitting.

Christmas Parade

We got together for dinner on Bob and Janet’s boat and enjoyed lasagna, salad and fresh bread! Then we played Ticket to Ride, our favorite train game! By the end of the evening we were all tired from our long day.

Tomorrow we will run errands, do laundry, and go out for dinner.
