December 9, 2015  Day 17 South for the Winter 2015-16
At anchor
Vernon River, south of Savannah, GA

This large container ship was coming down the Savannah River to go offshore.
We were at a crossroads to the river and wisely slowed down to let her go first!
Another sunset with beautidul reflections!

We don’t know how long this incredible weather can last but we are certainly enjoying it. Our four hour cruise today took us from our anchorage in Bull Creek near Hilton Head to the Vernon River, south of Savannah.  We stopped early to avoid being in shallow water at low tide. We will tackle those spots tomorrow at high tide!

We did some cleaning, talked to family members, cooked dinner and watched television this evening.

We will head to another anchorage in Georgia tomorrow!
