We
got an early start with Movin’ On and
departed Cape May at 0740. Apparently it was THE time to leave, because many
fishing boats were zooming by us in a hurry to get to their favorite spot. We
were badly waked by one of them, and this was still in the inlet!
We
had expected three foot waves in the ocean which we never got, but we did have
swells that kept us rocking and rolling the whole time. Not a fun ride, but we managed. Colin and Dawn
on Movin On spotted three Mako sharks
and a Hammerhead shark today. We saw fins so assumed they belonged to a shark!

We
arrived in Atlantic City at 1330 with Movin’ On and also another Looper boat, Ed EJ.
We had some projects to do and we were tired – and we have been here a
few times by car and boat – so we did not go sightseeing. We had dinner on board, made our reservations
for Tuesday and then just relaxed.
We
will leave at 0600 with Movin’ On and cruise about 60 miles to Manasquan. At least
the wind and wave forecast is good!
